Swynnerton Fishing Pond – Volunteers Needed This Weekend
Swynnerton Fishing Club will be back at the fishing pond this Saturday and Sunday for another weekend of improvements and maintenance.
Saturday: We’ll be building new fishing platforms.
Sunday: We’ll be carrying out general maintenance around the pond and surrounding areas.
We’d love to see people from Swynnerton come along and get involved. This is a community project for everyone to enjoy, and any help would be greatly appreciated.
Even if you can spare just an hour, please come along to lend a hand, have a look at what’s already been achieved, or simply show your support.
We hope to see you there!

Welcome to Swynnerton Community Angling Club

Established in 2010, our club provides a safe and friendly place for local residents to enjoy fishing and connect with nature. After a short break during the Covid-19, we proudly reopened in Angust 2025 with renewed vision for community and conservation.
Membership is limited to 50 local residents, and fishing open to members only.
The club operates as a NONPROFIT, run entirely by volunteers.

Before & After
See how Swynnerton Pond has changed through the hard work of local volunteers.
The area was once overgrown and unused. Now it is clean, safe and ready for our community to enjoy again.
Below, you will also find photos of the volunteers wo helped restore the pond.
Their work made this project possible and brought the pond back to life.
Before - Overgrown and neglected
